Ready or Not Kindergarten....

Here We Come!

In this camp, soon-to-be Kindergarten/Pre-K students will learn about the skills needed to succeed, outside of academics, in a kindergarten/pre-k classroom.

Children will be introduced to new tasks and skills in a fun and interactive way. We will of course entertwine academics, crafts and play!

OUR THREE FOCUS AREAS

Executive Functioning & Independence:

Lining up, taking off coats, manipulating backpacks and lunchboxes, organizing and manipulating school supplies.

Listening & Effective Communication:

Sitting on the rug, patient listening, listening to multistep directions, and asking for help.

Social Skills & Emotional Regulation:

Taking turns, sharing, problem-solving, and emotional management strategies.

Please Bring:

A backpack

A packed lunch (no peanut ingredients)

A water bottle

A pair of socks

A pair of gym shoes

A coat with a zipper

*All items should fit inside backpack*
