About the event
Explore the art of weaving as you create a colorful miniature tapestry using yarn. All materials will be prepared and ready for you—templates and a curated selection of yarn colors to choose from. You’ll learn how to wind yarn onto simple cardboard handles and weave back and forth, discovering how colors blend and transform as you work over and under the strands.
Teens may choose between creating a standard mini tapestry or two smaller coaster-size weavings using thinner yarn—perfect for resting a warm mug of tea or cocoa.
Ages 8-12 with parent for support
Ages 13+ attend independently
